Show your support!
Dear Friends, family, football supporters and voters!
The African Brothers Football Academy (ABFA) would like to thank you for all your support over the last few years! Your participation, use of our facilities and attendance at our events has allowed our organization to provide a platform where people can enjoy a game of football, where kids can harness and improve their skills, and where talented and committed coaches could find employment by doing what they love. Additional the facility host 20 schools per month.
ABFA currently employs 8 dedicated coaches, whose only source of income is the Academy. ABFA provides coaching to 200 young footballers aged between 8-17, and our football facilities are used by an average of 3000 social players per month.
Our goal (no pun intended) has always been to provide a clean and safe social and learning environment, where everybody who participates, no matter their age, race, gender, social or economic background can spend an enjoyable hour or two playing football.
This dream is now, however, under threat and we urgently need your help!
As you may have heard the City of Cape Town is considering closing our facilities UNLESS our patrons and supporters become more vocal about the value of our facilities, the contribution our initiate hason the community, and the benefit it has for you!
This is the last chance we have to keep the African Brothers Football Academy open, and we thus urge you to please make your support for us know. If we cannot manage to convince the City to change their mind, we will need to close the venue and take down the pitches. Meaning NO MORE FOOTBALL FACILITIES!
So here is how you can help:
Send an email to info@abfa.co.za
In the email highlight your support for ABFA , what benefit the facilities have for you and why you think we should stay in operation. We will collect all mails and send it to the council.
We would really appreciate your help and if you have any questions please feel free to let us know! Thank you again for your support over the years, and thank you very much for your continued support!
Best Regards
The ABFA Team
